Job Title: Sales Manager
Location: Cancona
Reports To: General Manager / Director of Sales
Position Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to maximize revenue through room sales, events, banquets, and other resort services. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and building long-term relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, wedding planners, and other partners. The ideal candidate is results-driven, well-networked, and passionate about hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Promote the resort’s accommodation, event spaces, and recreational facilities to drive business across all segments (corporate, leisure, MICE, weddings).
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and budgets in coordination with the Director of Sales or GM.

Client Relationship Management

  • Manage existing accounts and develop new relationships with key clients, including travel agencies, OTAs, DMCs, corporations, and event organizers.
  • Handle client inquiries, conduct property tours, and close group/event bookings.
  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction and retention through regular communication and personalized service.

Marketing & Promotions

  • Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, promotions, and packages to support sales efforts.
  • Represent the resort at trade shows, roadshows, sales calls, and networking events.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with the Reservations, Events, Front Office, and F&B teams to ensure smooth execution of bookings and guest satisfaction.
  • Track and report on sales performance, lead conversion, and ROI of sales activities.
  • Use sales systems and CRM tools to manage leads, pipelines, and client communications effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a sales role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a 4-star or higher property.
  • Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong network in the travel, MICE, and corporate segments is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in sales tools, CRM systems, and MS Office Suite.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Pay: ₹19,726.33 - ₹50,000.00 per month
