Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Sales Manager at MEDISYS located in Patna, Bihar. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales function for entire products range. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, managing a sales team, and fostering strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders. The Sales Manager plays a vital role in achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
· Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets for devices.
· Set & achieve sales targets, develop sales forecasts, and monitor performance against goals.
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers and strategic partners.
· Identify new business opportunities, target markets and customer segments for medical devices.
· Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective sales collateral, promotional materials, and sales campaigns.
· Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
· Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
· Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers and partners.
· Stay updated with industry trends, regulations and technological advancements in the medical device field.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
· Proven 10+ years of experience in sales management within the medical device industry.
· Good knowledge of ICU equipment and experience in selling ICU equipment, preferably ventilators and anesthesia machine.
· Strong understanding of medical devices industry and regulatory requirements.
· Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
· Excellent leadership and team management skills.
· Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze market data, sales trends and financial metrics.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Customer-focused approach with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
· Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
· Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams.
· High level of integrity and ethical standards.
