Sales Head

As the Head of Sales, your role is crucial in leading, developing, and executing the hotel's sales strategy to maximize revenue across various market segments. Your main responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the hotel's business goals and brand standards. - Identifying new business opportunities, emerging markets, and key accounts to increase market share. - Monitoring industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to ensure the hotel maintains a competitive edge. In terms of sales management, you will be responsible for: - Leading, coaching, and motivating the sales team to achieve individual and departmental targets. - Setting annual sales budgets, revenue forecasts, and action plans. - Overseeing key account management and personally managing high-value clients or strategic partners. - Coordinating with the marketing team to create promotions, packages, and campaigns to drive occupancy and revenue. Your role will also involve: - Developing and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and other stakeholders. - Representing the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and sales missions. - Negotiating contracts and pricing to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with Revenue Management and Front Office to optimize rate strategies and room inventory utilization. You will be required to prepare regular sales performance reports, market analysis, and business forecasts for management. Ensuring sales processes, documentation, and CRM data are maintained accurately and efficiently will also be part of your responsibilities. Qualifications & Skills required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). - Minimum of 8-10 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. - Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in hotels or resorts. - Strong network within corporate, MICE, and travel trade segments. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. - Leadership ability with a results-driven and customer-centric approach. - Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and hotel sales software (e.g., Delphi, Opera, or similar).
