Job Title: Business Development Executive / Sales Executive

Department: Sales & Business Development- IndiaMARTReports To: Mrs.Harsween KaurLocation: MohaliJob Type: Full-Time

Job Summary: The IndiaMART Sales team is responsible for handling B2B sales inquiries generated through IndiaMART and direct customer channels. This role involves purchasing relevant leads, engaging with potential and existing customers, understanding their requirements, sharing product information, and preparing quotations and proforma invoices. The executive will also coordinate with internal teams for pricing and product details, maintain accurate CRM records, update product listings, and ensure timely follow-ups to convert leads into sales. Strong communication, follow-up, and reporting skills are essential to succeed in this target-driven position.

Required Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree (MBA) in Marketing/Sales will be an added advantage.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, lead generation, client coordination, or inside sales.
  • Prior experience with IndiaMART, TradeIndia, or similar B2B platforms is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM or other CRM tools is desirable.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in using B2B platforms (especially IndiaMART) for lead procurement and product listing.
  • Hands-on experience in preparing quotations, proforma invoices, and maintaining sales data.
  • Ability to work with Google Workspace tools (Sheets, Docs, Gmail).
  • Understanding of product pricing, negotiation tactics, and basic sales processes.
  • Knowledge of export documentation and international client handling (preferred but not mandatory).

Other Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
  • Strong follow-up and client handling skills via phone, email, and WhatsApp.
  • Professional email writing and formal communication skills are essential.
  • Target-oriented with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and follow-ups.
  • Capable of managing time effectively and handling multiple leads simultaneously.
  • Team player with a collaborative approach to work with internal departments (pricing, product, logistics).
