The Sales Executive for the Forwarding Division will be responsible for driving sales and businessdevelopment activities focused on forwarding services. This role requires a customer-orientedprofessional who can generate leads, maintain client relationships, and support the sales team inachieving revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and generate new business leads within the forwarding division.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Understand customer requirements and propose suitable forwarding solutions.
Prepare and present quotations, negotiate terms, and close sales deals.
Coordinate with internal teams such as operations and logistics to ensure smooth service delivery.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM systems.
Assist in preparing sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Participate in trade shows, networking events, and other marketing activities as required.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in forwarding, freight forwarding, or logistics.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
Basic understanding of forwarding and logistics processes.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of Chennai market and customer base.
Familiarity with freight forwarding documentation and regulatory requirements.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Result-oriented with a focus on meeting sales targets.
