Job Description

As a Business Development professional in this role, your main responsibility will be to generate new business opportunities for freight forwarding services. This includes identifying and targeting potential customers, developing strategies to build a strong pipeline of prospects, and establishing relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement strategies to build a strong pipeline of prospects. - Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations. - Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by management. - Create and execute strategies to increase sales and market share in the freight forwarding sector. - Track and analyze sales data to forecast revenue, identify trends, and adjust strategies accordingly. - Maintain and grow long-term relationships with existing clients by providing outstanding service and support. - Act as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and professional manner. - Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing any issues promptly and following up on sales. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in business development, preferably in the freight forwarding industry. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain client relationships. - Ability to analyze sales data and adjust strategies accordingly. - Experience working with CRM systems to maintain accurate records of sales activities. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with the operations team to ensure customer satisfaction. In this role, you will work closely with the operations team to ensure the smooth execution of freight forwarding services and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will provide regular updates to management on progress against sales targets and market developments, and prepare reports on sales forecasts, customer feedback, and competitor activities.,
