Sales Executive - Freight Forwarding

As a Sales Executive in the Freight Forwarding industry, your role will involve generating sales leads, setting up meetings with clients, and achieving sales targets. You will be responsible for exploring new business opportunities, approaching shippers, and making appointments. Additionally, you will follow up on shipments and collections with customers to develop business. Preparing and submitting quotations and RFQs to customers will also be part of your key responsibilities. You will need to coordinate with customer service, operations, and documentation departments, as well as submit sales reports to management. Monitoring shipments, tracking import/export timelines, negotiating terms and pricing with suppliers, sourcing new buyers, and staying updated on commodity price trends will be crucial aspects of your role. Qualifications required for this position include a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the Logistics industry, excellent verbal and written communication skills, intermediate computer skills (Excel, Word), and excellent interpersonal skills.
