Position DetailsPosition: Sales Engineer Department: Sales & Marketing Location: Dahisar (E) Reporting to: Sales Manager / Director Key Responsibilities·        Business Development & Sales: Identify, approach, and acquire new customers in research, pharma, biotech, and testing labs. Achieve sales targets for laboratory equipment and consumables. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure repeat business. ·       Technical Demonstrations & Field Support: Conduct on-site product demonstrations and presentations at customer facilities. Assist with product installations, trials, and performance validations. Provide training and guidance to customers on proper product usage. Act as the primary technical contact during pre-sales and post-sales stages. ·        Customer Support & Relationship Management: Handle customer queries with professionalism and technical expertise. Coordinate with service/support teams for installation and after-sales service. Build strong long-term relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction. ·        Market Research & Reporting: Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends. Collect customer feedback to support continuous product improvement. Prepare regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and MIS for management. Key Skills Required·        Strong communication and interpersonal skills. ·        Technical knowledge of laboratory equipment/scientific instruments. ·        Ability to explain and demonstrate technical products clearly to end-users. ·        Presentation and customer training skills. ·        Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits, demos, and installations. ·        Negotiation, closing, and customer relationship management.
