Job Description

Job Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and technically sound Sales Engineer who will act as a vital link between the sales team and customers. This role focuses on technical support, product demonstrations, and pre-sales assistance to enable informed purchasing decisions and successful customer onboarding.

This position is not target-driven and does not involve incentive-based compensation. The emphasis is on technical excellence, customer support, and collaboration rather than individual sales targets.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable explaining technical concepts in simple terms and supporting customers throughout the sales and onboarding process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations for customers and prospects.
  • Support the sales team during pre-sales activities, including requirement analysis and solution mapping.
  • Explain technical features, benefits, and applications of products in a simple and clear manner.
  • Assist in lead conversion, negotiations, and deal closures along with the sales team.
  • Coordinate with customers to understand their technical needs and propose suitable solutions.
  • Work closely with sales, product, and service teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding.
  • Provide technical support during product installation, trials, and initial usage, if required.
  • Collect customer feedback and share market insights with internal teams.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documents, demo setups, and training materials.
  • Participate in exhibitions, events, and field visits as required.

Requirements:

  • Graduate, Science, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or application support.
  • Freshers with a strong technical background and good product knowledge are welcome to apply.
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) – mandatory.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, demonstrations, and site visits.
  • Experience in medical devices, diagnostics, or industrial products will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹360,000.00 per year
