Job Description

We’re Hiring | Director – Sales (Q-Commerce & HoReCa)


India | FMCG / Beverage


Director – Sales to lead our growth across Quick Commerce (Q-Commerce) and HoReCa channels in India.


Key Responsibilities


1. Key Account Management

• Lead product onboarding, listings, and availability across Q-Commerce platforms (Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, Amazon, etc.)

• Manage and grow HoReCa partnerships; Modern Trade experience (Reliance, D-Mart, More, etc.) is a plus

• Own joint business planning (JBP), negotiations, and performance reviews with key partners


2. Sales & Distribution

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets (value & volume)

• Drive distribution expansion, SKU penetration, and category growth


3. Merchandising & Visibility

• Own digital visibility on Q-Commerce platforms (listings, banners, hero images, SEO, planograms)

• Ensure execution excellence across visibility and merchandising guidelines


4. Promotions & Trade Marketing

• Plan and execute digital promotions, banner ads, featured slots, and bundles

• Lead trade schemes, BTL activations, and consumer offers


5. Data, Insights & Reporting

• Track daily/weekly sales performance, platform trends, and competitor activity

• Generate actionable insights to drive growth and optimize promotions


6. Demand Planning & Supply Coordination

• Work closely with supply chain teams on demand forecasting

• Ensure timely replenishment across warehouses and dark stores


7. New Product Launches

• Own end-to-end launch execution including listing, availability, visibility, and promotions



Key Skills & Experience


8–10 years of experience in FMCG/Beverage sales

• Strong exposure to Q-Commerce and HoReCa in India

• Experience working across Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Goa

• Modern Trade experience is an added advantage

• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• High analytical capability with strong data interpretation skills

• Deep understanding of retail economics, trade marketing, and category management

• Startup mindset with strong execution bias
