Collection Manager – Real Estate Sale

Sales / Accounts

Vadodara

4–8 Years (Real Estate Preferred)

Role Summary


The Collection Manager – Real Estate Sales is responsible for the timely collection of sales proceeds from customers, coordination with the sales team, finance, and legal departments, and ensuring adherence to payment schedules as per agreements. The role plays a critical part in maintaining healthy cash flow and minimizing outstanding receivables.


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage and monitor customer payment collections as per the sales agreement and construction-linked plans.

  • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure collection targets are achieved on time.

  • Follow up with customers for instalments, dues, and overdue payments through calls, emails, and meetings.

  • Maintain accurate records of receivables, collections, and outstanding balances.

  • Generate and share collection MIS reports with management on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.

  • Coordinate with accounts and finance teams for receipt posting, reconciliation, and ledger updates.

  • Handle post-sales documentation, including demand letters, receipts, and payment acknowledgements.

  • Assist in loan coordination with banks and financial institutions for home loan disbursements.

  • Ensure compliance with RERA guidelines, payment terms, and company policies.

  • Resolve customer queries related to billing, payment schedules, penalties, and interest.

  • Escalate critical overdue cases to management and support legal recovery processes when required.

  • Support handover and possession-related collections, including final dues and registration charges.


Key Skills & Competencies


  • Strong knowledge of real estate sales processes and payment structures

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Proficiency in MIS reporting, Excel, and CRM systems

  • Ability to handle high-value transactions and customer relationships

  • Good coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders

  • Attention to detail and strong follow-up skills

  • Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or Finance

  • MBA or a relevant certification will be an added advantage


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)


  • Collection efficiency and ageing reduction

  • Percentage of overdue recovery

  • Accuracy and timeliness of MIS reporting

  • Customer satisfaction and issue resolution

  • Coordination effectiveness with sales and finance teams
