Digital Marketing & Automation Specialist

Role Overview

Digital Marketing & Automation Specialist

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing Automation & Lead Flow

  • Build and optimize lead journeys using tools like

    ActiveCampaign

    , or

    Zoho CRM

    .
  • Design workflows for nurturing leads from inquiry to conversion.
  • Set up automated WhatsApp sequences, follow-ups, and segment-based communication.
  • Integrate lead capture forms, chatbots, and analytics with CRM and email systems.

2. Email & WhatsApp Campaign Management

  • Create targeted bulk email and WhatsApp campaigns with high open and click rates.
  • Write, design, and test email content to improve engagement.
  • Implement best practices to

    avoid spam filters

    (SPF, DKIM, domain warm-up, content optimization).
  • Segment audiences by interests, regions, and behavior for personalization.

3. Revenue & Conversion Optimization

  • Analyze funnel performance from website to payment.
  • Increase conversions from organic traffic, inquiry forms, and webinar sign-ups.
  • Collaborate with content and design teams to improve landing pages and CTAs.
  • Conduct A/B testing to refine messaging and offers.

4. Analytics & Reporting

  • Track performance across email, WhatsApp, and CRM systems.
  • Monitor lead scores, response rates, and conversion metrics.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports on automation impact and ROI.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in

    digital marketing automation

    , preferably in the

    education sector

    .
  • Proven results with

    ActiveCampaign

    ,

    Mailchimp

    ,

    HubSpot

    , or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of

    email deliverability best practices

    , including spam avoidance and compliance.
  • Experience with

    WhatsApp Business API

    , chatbot integrations, and multi-channel automation.
  • Familiarity with

    lead scoring

    ,

    retargeting

    , and

    funnel analytics tools

    (GA4, Data Studio).
  • Strong analytical and copywriting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in digital marketing for

    edtech or academic institutions

  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email template edits.
  • Understanding of

    CRM + WhatsApp + email integration workflows
