This role is ideal for someone who understands both the traditional agri-ecosystem and modern market dynamics. You’ll lead strategy, field execution, and team development while creating real impact for farmers and the environment. 🧑‍🌾 Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership Drive strategic sales plans aligned with organizational growth goals Expand B2B and B2C sales across distributors, retailers, and farm partners Monitor field sales performance and set achievable targets Analyze agri-market trends to refine pricing and channel strategies Build networks with farmers, suppliers, agri-input businesses & govt bodies Marketing Strategy Lead multi-channel marketing (offline, digital, grassroots campaigns) Plan branding activities, product launches & trade show presence Collaborate with R&D to align offerings with farmer needs Build farmer education & awareness programs Utilize CRM and agri-tech tools for customer engagement Team Management Hire, train & mentor a high-performance sales and marketing team Conduct reviews and ongoing coaching for field executives Drive alignment between sales, marketing & field operations Reporting & Compliance Prepare performance dashboards & sales forecasts Ensure compliance with agriculture regulations and fair pricing norms Monitor department budgets and optimize spends ✅ What We’re Looking For Minimum 8 years of experience in agriculture-based sales & marketing Deep understanding of rural markets, farmer psyche, and agri-input products Strong leadership and people development skills Willingness to travel extensively in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka Fluency in Tamil & English is mandatory.
