Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Safety Officer for a 1-year contractual assignment at our Mahape (Navi Mumbai) facility. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with safety standards, promote a safe working environment, and support daily safety operations. Candidates residing in Navi Mumbai or Mumbai will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and monitor site safety protocols, ensuring adherence to statutory and company safety standards.
Conduct daily toolbox talks, safety inspections, and audits across the site.
Identify potential risks and recommend preventive measures to ensure zero accidents.
Maintain and update safety records, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
Coordinate safety drills, training sessions, and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
Ensure proper use of PPE, machinery safety, and emergency procedures.
Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and authorities for safety compliance.
Experience in Data Centre safety operations will be a strong advantage.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Diploma / Degree in Engineering with
Certified Safety Officer Qualification (NEBOSH/IOSH/Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety)
.
2 to 5 years of experience as a Safety Officer; Data Centre experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of safety standards, audits, risk assessments, and statutory norms.
Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills.
Ability to handle on-ground safety compliance efficiently.
