Job Description

Location: Dahej Manufacturing Unit

Department: Safety

Reporting To: Safety Executive

Job Purpose

Ensure industrial health safety of employees, contractors, equipment, and facilities at the plant.Key Responsibilities

Conduct safety inductions, trainings, toolbox talks mock drills .
Carry out safety rounds, inspections, and audits ; ensure compliance with ESS statutory requirements.
Implement and monitor permit-to-work system, LOTO, and isolation procedures .
Maintain and inspect safety equipment, PPEs, and firefighting systems .
Lead incident/near-miss reporting, investigation, and trend analysis .
Support PSM implementation, HIRA, JSA, Hazop studies .
Promote Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) and workplace 5S.
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and statutory authorities.

Requirements

Qualification: Diploma in Industrial Safety (essential); Diploma in Chemical/Fire Safety/Mechanical (preferred).
Experience: 1-3 years in industrial safety (process safety preferred).
Skills: Safety audits, risk assessment, firefighting systems, training, compliance.
Behavioral: Team player, proactive, safety-focused, willingness to learn.
