Job Description

Role Overview: As a Business Development Manager Level in the IT- Software Products & Services industry, you will be responsible for driving sales, business development, and partner management activities in the Mumbai region. Reporting to the Sales Head, you will play a crucial role in generating new business leads, understanding customer needs, preparing proposals, closing sales, and maintaining customer relationships. Your strong business acumen, communication skills, and technical understanding will be key to achieving sales targets and contributing to the team's success. Key Responsibilities: - Generate new business leads through various channels such as cold-calling, networking, and business associations. - Understand customers" business needs and apply product knowledge to provide tailored solutions. - Prepare techno-commercial proposals, presentations, and deliver customer presentations and demonstrations. - Negotiate effectively to close sales deals and create awareness of products/services. - Maintain and expand the customer base by building rapport with key partners and customers. - Manage relationships with existing customers, cross-sell/up-sell products, and respond to tender documents. - Meet sales targets, develop sales strategies, and stay updated on industry trends and competition offerings. - Collaborate with teams for pre-sales, deployment, and post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in any specialization with a focus on IT Products/Services sales or an equivalent field. - MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred. - 8-10 years of sales experience in IT Products/Services, solution sales, and partner management. - Proven track record of achieving sales targets and strong knowledge of the local market. - Experience in selling enterprise SaaS products will be an added advantage. - Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills. - Competencies including strong business sense, competitive attitude, negotiation skills, decision-making ability, and team spirit.,
