Job Description

As a Business Development Manager in the IT Software Products & Services industry, your main role will be to generate new business leads and drive sales for enterprise SaaS products. Your key responsibilities will include: - Generating new business leads through various methods such as cold-calling, networking, and business associations - Understanding customers" business needs and utilizing product knowledge to provide suitable solutions - Preparing techno-commercial proposals and presentations, delivering customer presentations and software/service demonstrations - Negotiating commercial agreements effectively and closing sales deals - Creating product/service awareness, conducting training for clients and partners - Maintaining and expanding the customer base by building rapport with key partners and customers, identifying new opportunities - Managing relationships with existing customers, cross-selling/up-selling products and services - Responding to tender documents, writing proposals, reports, and supporting literature - Meeting sales targets, contributing to team targets, and developing sales strategies to improve market share - Keeping up-to-date with the constantly changing software and hardware systems and peripherals - Staying informed about competitors" offerings, strategies, and plans - Collaborating with teams for pre-sales, deployment, and post-sales support Qualifications required for this role include: - 8-10 years of sales experience, preferably in IT Products/Services sales and partner management - Experience in selling enterprise SaaS products is an added advantage - Strong knowledge of the local market, particularly in Financial/Healthcare/Retail/Education domains - Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills - Proven track record in achieving sales targets - Strong business sense, competitive attitude, negotiation skills, decision-making abilities, time-management, and team spirit - Ability to handle stress and work effectively as part of a team This is a full-time, permanent position located in Goregaon, Mumbai, reporting to the Sales Head. The working hours are from 9.30 AM to 6 PM with holidays on the second and fourth Saturdays. The ideal candidate should hold a graduate degree in any specialization and a postgraduate qualification such as an MBA or equivalent.,
