Role Summary

We are seeking a CA Qualified Statutory Auditor to join our Audit practice. The role involves managing statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance assignments across industries, including listed entities. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in accounting and auditing standards, experience in handling large-scale audit engagements, and the ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining audit quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead statutory audits in compliance with Indian GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the Partner and senior leadership to manage client relationships and engagement delivery.
  • Establish audit objectives, design methodologies, and ensure effective execution of audit processes.
  • Manage end-to-end audit engagements, including listed and large clients, with minimal supervision.
  • Supervise and mentor audit teams, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Conduct reviews of audit work, provide partner-level reviews, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Identify and communicate significant issues to client management during audits and provide value-driven recommendations.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring efficient project management and client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of audit methodology, risk management, and quality assurance practices.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • Strong technical expertise in Auditing Standards, Accounting Standards (Ind AS, IFRS), and Companies Act.
  • 3 to 7 years of post-qualification experience in statutory audits, preferably with exposure to listed companies.
  • Experience in internal audit and process reviews will be an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with top management.
  • Proficiency in audit tools, MS Office, and data analysis techniques.
