Risk Analyst

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled MI Risk Analytics professional to join our Risk Management team. The role will focus on generating insightful management information reports, conducting risk analysis, and supporting risk leadership with actionable intelligence to manage enterprise risk exposure effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain MI dashboards and risk reports for senior management and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze risk trends, KPIs, and KRIs across portfolios such as credit risk, operational risk, market risk, etc.
• Partner with risk, compliance, and business teams to gather reporting requirements and deliver high-quality insights.
• Automate recurring reports using tools like SQL, Python, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of data used in risk reporting.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly MI packs for Risk Committees and Board-level reporting.
• Support stress testing, scenario analysis, and early warning indicators where required.
• Assist in regulatory submissions and risk disclosure reporting (e.g., Basel, IFRS9, ICAAP).

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3–8 years) in MI reporting, risk analytics, or related domains.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with Python, R, or SAS is a plus.
• Knowledge of risk frameworks and regulatory guidelines (Basel norms, PRA, RBI, etc.).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):

• Experience in the BFSI domain, preferably in Credit/Market/Operational Risk.
• Exposure to data governance, data lineage, and metadata management.
• Familiarity with risk systems and databases like SAS Risk, Moody’s, Actimize, etc.
