Job Summary:

Jewelry Retail Store Manager


Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Service:

  • Achieve or exceed monthly and annual store sales goals.
  • Lead by example to deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting client relationships.
  • Handle high-value transactions with discretion and professionalism.
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure overall client satisfaction.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate store staff.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching for development.
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.

Store Operations:

  • Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and manage stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and security standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors and manage repairs, special orders, and consignments.

Visual Merchandising & Presentation:

  • Maintain high standards for store appearance and product displays.
  • Implement seasonal and promotional merchandising strategies.
  • Ensure all jewelry is properly tagged, clean, and attractively displayed.

Administrative Duties:

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Manage store budget and expenses.
  • Coordinate with head office or regional management on marketing, inventory, and staffing.


Requirements:

- 3+ years of retail management experience, preferably in luxury or jewelry retail.

- Strong leadership and team-building skills.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Sales-driven with a deep understanding of clientele and relationship selling.

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

- Proficiency in POS systems, Microsoft Office, and retail management software.

- Knowledge of gemstones, diamonds, and precious metals is a plus.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

  • Strong understanding of fine jewelry, precious metals, and gemstones.
