Role Description


Retail Sales Specialist


Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Sales

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current promotions, product offerings, and store campaigns.
  • Consistently deliver a premium customer service experience, ensuring satisfaction and repeat visits.
  • Actively drive sales through upselling, cross-selling, and building customer relationships.

Operations & Inventory

  • Support day-to-day store operations including cash handling, billing, and POS transactions.
  • Assist in inventory management: stock counts, replenishment, and loss prevention.
  • Ensure merchandising and visual displays reflect brand standards and seasonal promotions.

Team Support & Leadership

  • Collaborate with the Store Team to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Motivate and guide sales associates to maintain high performance and customer service levels.
  • Step in to oversee the store in the absence of the Store Manager.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Track sales, maintain records, and share regular updates with management.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, grooming standards, and operational SOPs.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Business/Retail Management preferred).
  • Previous experience in retail, luxury sales, or customer-facing roles strongly preferred.
  • Min. 2 years of experience in Retail sales with Bespoke Tailoring

Required Skills

  • Strong sales orientation with proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering premium service.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Team-player with leadership potential.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail software.
  • Understanding of retail merchandising principles and visual display techniques.
  • Familiarity with luxury retail or fashion/apparel industry.
