Job Description

Job Title: Store Manager

  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and profitability goals.
  • Monitor and analyze sales trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
  • Implement strategies to increase footfall, conversion rates, and average transaction value.

2. Store Operations

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the store.
  • Maintain store hygiene, visual merchandising, and stock presentation standards.
  • Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, shrinkage control, and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and statutory regulations.

3. Customer Service

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance brand loyalty.
  • Train and guide staff on service excellence and product knowledge.

4. Team Management

  • Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate store staff.
  • Prepare staff schedules, allocate responsibilities, and monitor performance.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Foster a positive and disciplined work environment.

5. Financial Management

  • Manage store budgets and expenses effectively.
  • Monitor cash handling, billing, and daily sales reconciliations.
  • Ensure adherence to loss prevention and cost control measures.

6. Reporting & Coordination

  • Generate daily/weekly/monthly sales and operations reports.
  • Communicate effectively with area managers, HO teams.
  • Provide feedback on product demand, stock issues, and customer feedback.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate degree (MBA preferred) in Retail Management/Business Administration or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in retail, with at least 3 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems.
