Restaurant Manager

As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant located in Dubai, UAE. Your role will involve ensuring operational excellence by managing staff, controlling inventory, and upholding high service standards. You will recruit, train, and evaluate restaurant staff to create a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance. Collaborating with the kitchen team is essential to ensure timely and quality food service. Your focus on customer service will be key in anticipating guest needs, resolving issues promptly, and providing a memorable dining experience for all patrons. Handling customer queries, feedback, and complaints professionally will be crucial to maintain customer satisfaction. Additionally, managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to maximize profitability while upholding quality standards will be part of your responsibilities. Health and safety compliance is paramount, and you will ensure adherence to regulations, food hygiene standards, and company policies to create a safe environment for both staff and customers. Collaborating with the marketing team to create promotions and initiatives that drive guest traffic and increase revenue will also be part of your role. Working closely with chefs and culinary staff, you will contribute to menu development, maintain quality, and ensure customer preferences are met. Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of food and supplies and negotiate favorable terms will be essential. Prepare and present reports related to restaurant performance, customer feedback, and staff productivity to upper management. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role. Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required, along with excellent communication skills in English. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is necessary, as well as familiarity with restaurant management software and point of sale (POS) systems.
