Restaurant Manager

We Vananam Foods & Beverages Team is looking for Restaurant Manager with experience of South Indian Cuisine. Below are the expectation we need from the candidate-

Minimum Experience - 5 Years in South Indian Cuisine.

At least 3 years experience as Manager.

Operational Management

• Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth functioning.
• Manage staff schedules, shifts, and duty rosters.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations (FSSAI/Local laws).
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement.
• Handle reservations, customer complaints, and service issues effectively.

• Staff Management
• Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff (waiters, chefs, housekeeping, delivery).
• Conduct regular staff meetings and briefings.
• Motivate employees and manage performance evaluations.
• Ensure adherence to uniform, grooming, and discipline standards.
• Resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.

Financial Management

• Monitor daily sales and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare and manage budgets, cost control, and profitability targets.
• Reduce wastage of food and resources.
• Manage cash handling, billing, and POS systems.

Customer Service

• Ensure excellent customer experience through quality service and hospitality.
• Address customer feedback and complaints promptly.
• Monitor service standards to maintain consistency.
• Encourage upselling and cross-selling of menu items.
