Job Summary:

Research Manager

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of cognitive health technology, from concept to validation to market, while making a meaningful impact on global brain health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development of cognitive screeners: design → clinical validation → iterative refinement.
• Partner with engineers to optimize data collection (e.g., task parameters, sensor integration) and ensure technical feasibility.
• Design & lead clinical research for development of cognitive assessments as well as for impact evaluation of Ivory solutions
• Analyze outcomes to refine screeners and generate evidence for clinical/regulatory stakeholders.
• Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present findings to scientific and non-scientific audiences.
• Support conceptualization and iteration of new products through in-depth scientific research and leveraging data to create product insights 
• Generate clear and compelling detailed reports and visualizations to communicate key data to different internal and external stakeholders..

Required Qualifications:

1. PhD in Neuroscience, Neuropsychology, Cognitive Science, or related field (Master’s with 5+ years of applied research experience considered).
2. 1-2 years of experience in the research domain within the industry is strongly preferred. We're not big on deep qualitiative research at the moment, hence a more quant-leaning skillset would be preferred.

Core Skillsets Required:

To excel in this role, you must bring:

1. Technical and Data Analysis Proficiency including but not limited to, proficiency in statistical analysis (e.g., longitudinal modeling, ROC curves) and psychometric validation (reliability, construct validity) Advanced skills in Python/R for data analysis (NumPy, pandas, psychopy) and visualization (ggplot, Tableau).
2. Experience with machine learning pipelines for deriving digital biomarkers from multimodal data (behavioral, speech, reaction time) will be a plus
3. High Agency and ability to collaborate with cross-functional departments
4. Translational Science Mindset and Science-forward thinking
5. Excellent verbal and written skills
