Quality Management Department (QMD):

Designation: Research Engineer (Safety Officer) (ARAI Contract)

Location: Pune

Work Experience: 3 -7 Years

Candidates should have completed Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) from recognized institute with good academic record and shall possess relevant experience of 3-7 years with good communication skills.

Candidates should possess necessary skill sets mentioned in below job description

1. Act as Additional Safety Officer

2. Identify, assist, guide and review to comply legal obligations

3. Prepare, monitor & improve OHS performance by undertaking various projects

4. To provide OHS trainings to employees

5. Assist departments in preparation of HIRA studies guide to comply with system procedures

6. Conduct plant safety inspections & Safety audits (ISO 45001 & IS 14489)

7. Conduct OHS monitoring with approved laboratories

8. Investigate selected accidents and check effectiveness of actions taken for all incidents

9. Check operational controls so as to avoid dangerous occurrence and occupational diseases, Conduct Mock Drills

10. Maintenance of records pertaining to accidents, dangerous occurrence and occupational diseases

11. Conduct Safety Committee meetings and ensure actions taken as per decisions

12. Conduct OHS promotional activities

13. Preparation of dash boards, analysis of data for OHS performance

14. Review new developments and give inputs to cross functional team

15. Prepare presentations, modules, OCP etc.

16. Assist in Implementation of new standard

17. Preferred Additional Qualifications: ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001 internal auditor will be added advantage

This vacancy is on ARAI contract i.e on ARAI Payroll for 1 year.
