Job Description

Automotive Research Association of India is looking for Homologation and Technology Centre (HTC) Professional to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey. Lead and manage the homologation processes for new and existing vehicle models, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international automotive regulations, standards, and certification requirements (e. g. , AIS, ECE, GSO, EPA, FMVSS). Coordinate with internal R&D, product engineering, and regulatory teams to interpret, integrate, and implement evolving technical regulations into product design and development processes. Oversee documentation, type approvals, conformity of production (COP), and submission of vehicle/component data to appropriate regulatory agencies. Liaise with external certification bodies, government authorities, testing laboratories, and industry consortia to facilitate timely approval and market readiness of vehicles and systems. Support product development through regulatory impact assessments, gap analyses, and compliance roadmaps during early design stages to minimize rework and certification delays. Drive innovation in testing methods, simulation protocols, and virtual validation to reduce homologation time and costs. Manage internal testing infrastructure for compliance testing related to safety, emissions, noise, lighting, and functional validation. Monitor changes in automotive regulations globally and assess their implications on business strategies, product planning, and technology adoption. Establish and maintain databases and regulatory tracking systems to ensure audit readiness and transparency across projects. Conduct training and awareness programs for cross-functional teams on homologation standards and evolving legal frameworks. Collaborate with global teams to harmonize homologation strategies across multiple geographies, supporting global product launches with a unified certification approach. Ensure seamless communication between OEMs, suppliers, testing agencies, and internal stakeholders to streamline approval timelines and reduce compliance risk.
