About the Role:

Manager – R&D (Product Innovation)

lab work, stability studies, ingredient research, packaging evaluations

Key Responsibilities:

1) Strategic Product Innovation: Lead the end-to-end development of new products, from

conceptualization to market launch, ensuring alignment with consumer needs and company

strategy.

2) Research & Formulation: Develop and optimize formulations for hair care products,

integrating Ayurveda, Allopathy, and modern science.

3) Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure all products comply with regulatory standards (FDA,

AYUSH, FSSAI, etc.) and maintain documentation for product approvals.

4) Clinical & Efficacy Testing: Oversee clinical trials, efficacy studies, and stability testing to

validate product claims.

5) Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, manufacturing, and quality

assurance teams to ensure successful product launches.

6) Vendor & Raw Material Sourcing: Identify and evaluate suppliers for high-quality and

sustainable ingredients.

7) Market Trends & Consumer Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor analysis,

and consumer preferences to drive innovation.

8) team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing NPD team, fostering a culture of

innovation and scientific excellence.

Who You Are:

1) Education: PhD/Master’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Cosmetic Science, Biotechnology,

Ayurveda, or related fields.

2) Experience: 6+ years in R&D, formulation development, and new product innovation in

FMCG, Pharma, or Ayurvedic industries.

3) Scientific Expertise: Hands-on experience in formulation chemistry, bioactives, and

hair/scalp health.

4) Regulatory Acumen: Deep knowledge of Indian and global regulatory frameworks

(AYUSH, FDA, EU regulations, etc.).

5) Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within tight

timelines.

6) Innovative Mindset: Passion for research, product innovation, and creating disruptive

solutions in the hair care space.
