Focus: Retention, Churn Mitigation, and Upselling (e.g., SketchUp/CAD software)
Role Objective
The Renewals Specialist ensures our existing customers continue to find value in our software. You will manage the end-to-end renewal lifecycle for subscription-based products, focusing on high retention rates and identifying expansion opportunities within the existing base.
Key Responsibilities
· Renewal Management: Manage a portfolio of accounts with upcoming expirations; initiate renewal discussions 60 days in advance.
· Churn Prevention: Identify "at-risk" accounts by monitoring low usage patterns and collaborating with Customer Success to resolve blockers.
· Negotiation: Prepare renewal quotes, handle pricing objections, and negotiate contract terms to secure commitments.
· Expansion: Identify opportunities for seat upgrades (upsell) or additional product modules (cross-sell) during the renewal cycle.
· Forecasting: Provide weekly reports on renewal health and predictable revenue forecasts to the leadership team.
Qualifications
· 3+ years of experience in Renewals, Account Management, or Sales Operations.
· Prior experience with design/technical software (like SketchUp, Autodesk, or Adobe) is a massive plus.
· Strong commercial acumen and comfort with "Value-Based" selling.
