Role Overview

Renewable Energy Expert

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new opportunities in solar, wind, bioenergy, green hydrogen, and energy storage sectors.
• Conduct feasibility studies, techno-economic analysis, and site assessments for renewable energy projects.
• Liaise with government bodies, regulators, EPC contractors, and technology providers to facilitate project development.
• Lead R&D collaborations and partnerships with academia or startups in renewable innovation.
• Monitor industry trends, policy developments, and funding opportunities (e.g., MNRE, SECI, PLI schemes).
• Support business development and proposal writing for tenders, grants, and investor pitches.
• Prepare detailed reports, investment memos, and stakeholder presentations.
• Ensure regulatory and environmental compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in renewable energy project development, consulting, or policy.
• Strong understanding of India's renewable energy landscape, policy frameworks, and incentives.
• Experience with hybrid systems, storage, or green hydrogen is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in tools like HOMER, PVSyst, RETScreen, or similar software preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
