As Regional Strategic Business Development Manager, Medical Technologies, the candidate will be responsible for identifying and driving strategic growth opportunities across the region. This role involves market analysis, partnership development, strategic planning, execution and monitoring of marketing campaigns and cross-functional collaboration to achieve business expansion and revenue goals. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong commercial acumen and the ability to execute initiatives in a dynamic market landscape.
· Develop and implement strategic business development plans aligned with regional objectives in
consultation with Business Development Head.
· Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and growth areas within the region.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals,
procurement managers, and decision-makers.
· Lead commercial initiatives like price negotiation, terms and contracts for strategic projects,
collaborations, and business model innovations along with cross-functional teams (Sales,
Marketing, Product Management and Application). Also, collaborate with internal teams such as
sales, marketing, and product development to meet customer requirements and expectations.
· Conduct market, competitor, and customer analysis to support data-driven decision-making.
· Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and clinical experts to strengthen
product credibility and gather clinical insights. Coordinate with KOLs for testimonials, case studies,
and participation in webinars or events to enhance brand reputation and product trust in the
given portfolio.
· Lead and manage a team of product and application team in the region.
· Work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, and
Operations) to drive execution.
· Prepare and present business cases, proposals, and strategic reports to senior management.
· Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business development initiatives, campaign
effectiveness and adjust strategies based on performance metrics and customer feedback.
· Attend industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to expand professional network
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, or related field (MBA preferred).
· 7–10 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, or related roles.
· Proven track record of driving business growth in regional markets.
· Strong commercial (financial acumen), negotiation, and communication skills.
· Ability to think strategically and translate ideas into actionable plans.
· Experience working in a cross-cultural, matrix organization is a plus.
