Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in a designated territory. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outside sales, management, and business development, with a proven track record of success in B2B sales. This role requires exceptional negotiation skills, customer service expertise, and the ability to effectively manage accounts while driving revenue growth through strategic territory management.

Duties

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals and objectives within the assigned region.
  • Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and lead generation initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients through account management and direct sales efforts.
  • Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and analyze performance metrics.
  • Deliver product demos and presentations to potential clients, showcasing the value of our offerings.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align strategies and drive brand awareness within the territory.
  • Engage in cold calling and upselling efforts to maximize revenue from existing accounts.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.

Experience

  • Proven experience in outside sales, with a focus on B2B technology sales preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in sales management, including territory management and account management.
  • Strong analytical skills for assessing market conditions and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and relationship building.
  • Experience in conducting product demonstrations and negotiating contracts effectively.
