Regional Manager


Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve branch revenue and profitability targets.
  • Identify and acquire new customers, with a strong focus on

    FTL business

    (corporates, Limited companies and HNI B2B customers)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Negotiate contracts, transportation rates, and service terms with customers.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify new business opportunities.

Branch Operations & Management

  • Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring on-time service delivery and adherence to company standards.
  • Coordinate with operations and dispatch teams for efficient vehicle placement, route planning, and load management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Monitor branch expenses and profitability, ensuring cost optimization.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the sales and operations teams at the branch.
  • Set clear targets, review performance, and provide training and guidance.
  • Foster a customer-centric and result-oriented culture within the team.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Track sales performance, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
  • Submit periodic MIS reports to the Regional/Business Head.
  • Analyze branch performance and suggest improvements for growth and efficiency.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of

    FTL transportation, logistics, and supply chain industry

    .
  • Proven sales and business development skills in the transport/logistics sector.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate / MBA (preferred) with specialization in Sales, Marketing, or Logistics.
  • 10-20 years of experience

    in the transport & logistics industry, with at least

    15+ years in FTL sales and Key Account management

    .
  • Strong client base and market knowledge in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh region will be an advantage.
