Role Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Regional Sales Manager to lead revenue growth, build high-performing sales teams, and expand Marx Tradelink’s footprint across the assigned region. This is a leadership role for proven closers who can think strategically, execute aggressively, and own numbers end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive regional sales strategy aligned with company growth goals
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
  • Develop and manage key enterprise & SME logistics accounts
  • Build, mentor, and lead a strong regional sales team
  • Identify new trade lanes, industries, and high-value clients
  • Work closely with operations, pricing, and documentation teams to ensure smooth execution
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing intelligence
  • Ensure strong CRM discipline, forecasting, and reporting
  • Represent Marx Tradelink at industry events, client meetings, and trade forums

What We’re Looking For (Non-Negotiables)

  • 5+ years of proven sales experience in freight forwarding / logistics
  • Strong exposure to sea freight, air freight, FCL/LCL, D2D, and international trade
  • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience managing regional sales teams
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong business acumen with a hunter-plus-leader mindset
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing client base or industry network
  • Experience handling corporate accounts & contract logistics
  • Knowledge of international markets (UK, Europe, Middle East is a plus)
  • MBA or equivalent professional qualification
