Role Overview


Regional Sales Managers (RSMs)

leadership role

Mumbai (West)


Key Responsibilities


1️⃣ Sales & Revenue Ownership

  • Own and deliver regional sales targets with consistent

    month-on-month growth

  • Drive

    primary and secondary sales

    across channels
  • Execute regional sales strategies aligned with national business goals

2️⃣ Channel & Distribution Expansion

  • Build, manage, and scale

    distributor and dealer networks

  • Appoint new channel partners and strengthen existing relationships
  • Ensure distributor discipline on forecasting, ordering, and inventory hygiene

3️⃣ Territory & Team Management

  • Manage and drive performance of on-ground sales teams (where applicable)
  • Conduct regular market visits, retailer interactions, and competitor tracking
  • Train channel partners on product knowledge, schemes, and best practices

4️⃣ Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Track region-specific trends, pricing, competition, and consumer insights
  • Share actionable reports on performance gaps and growth opportunities

5️⃣ Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with

    Marketing, Supply Chain, Product, and Finance

    teams
  • Support regional marketing activations, product launches, and trade promotions



Ideal Candidate Profile


Experience & Skills


  • 4+ years

    of experience in

    channel sales / distribution-led businesses

  • Strong understanding of

    regional markets, field execution, and GT dynamics

  • Hands-on experience managing distributors, dealers, and retailers
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in

    local languages

    of the respective region is a strong plus


Regional exposure preferred:


  • West:

    Maharashtra, Gujarat, MP, Goa
  • East:

    West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, North-East


Education


  • MBA preferred (Tier 1.5 / Tier 2 institutes)
  • Strong business and analytical fundamentals


Industry Background


  • Open to candidates from

    FMCD, FMCG, Consumer Electronics, Mobile Accessories, Appliances

    , or similar channel-driven industries
