Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager based in Bengaluru to join our team. This role is critical in driving growth through new business development, expanding current accounts, and collaborating with channel partners. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the cybersecurity industry, with a focus on data security, and a proven track record in managing and developing relationships within public sector government departments & entities across the southern states in India. Key Responsibilities: New Business Development : Identify and acquire new customers to drive business growth in line with assigned quotas. Account Management : Manage and grow existing accounts through proactive engagement and strategic planning. GTM Strategy Execution : Develop and implement a comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) plan to achieve and exceed sales quotas. Customer Account Planning : Create and execute detailed account and opportunity plans to align with company goals and objectives . Collaboration and Engagement : Work effectively with internal teams, including Sales Engineers, Channel Partners, Solutions Sales Teams, and Executives, to ensure seamless account management and execution. CRM Utilization : Use the CRM system to manage the sales pipeline, accurately forecast opportunities, and ensure timely closure of deals. Channel Development : Drive revenue growth through effective channel strategies, developing partnerships with resellers and distributors to penetrate mid-market enterprises. Enterprise Sales Execution : Engage with C-level executives and decision-makers to close complex, high-value deals. Qualifications and Experience: Industry Expertise : Proven sales experience in the cybersecurity industry; experience with data security solutions is highly preferred. Market Knowledge : Prior experience 1 0 years+ working with government, state enterprises, government-linked companies, large enterprises, and mid-market accounts in Eastern India and Bangladesh Channel & Partner Engagement : Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with channel partners and distributors. Enterprise Account Management : Experience managing large and mid-market enterprises . Proven Track Record : Consistent achievement of sales quotas and targets. Sales Skills : Strong analytical, forecasting, and deal management skills. Communication : Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Ability to engage and partner effectively with internal sales resources, including Sales Engineers and Specialists. Desired Characteristics: Strong understanding of cybersecurity and data security trends and solutions. Ability to work across various vertical markets and adapt strategies to different industries. Skilled in engaging with high-level stakeholders, including C-level executives. Self-motivated with a passion for building customer relationships and driving results. Why Join Us?
