Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Meet targets that have been set in the Annual Business Plan for Heating SBU for the region.
  • Attending sales meetings & negotiations with customers.
  • Understanding client requirement and sharing information with Proposal/back end team to device best and customized solution, tender/ inquiry evaluation.
  • Track & report sales and marketing activities on a decided periodic basis.
  • Analysis of Orders won and lost and implement learning and follow best practices.
  • Engage in techno - commercial discussions with clients, consultants, EPC contractors for business development in respective regions.
  • Tracking Competition strategy and device counter for same.
  • Achieving sales target for assigned territory.
  • Actively work on building the brand and image of Thermax
  • Build and maintain a detailed, active customer database.
  • Build and manage relationships with large corporate and business houses.
  • Coordination with Peers from other divisions/regions and maximize cross sale opportunities.
  • Business development through new applications/FOAK products.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Functional:
    • Knowledge of basic engineering equipment and processes
    • Good presentation & analytical skills
    • Effective communication skills
    • Clear & strong orientation towards results, targets and deadlines
    • Willing to travel extensively to achieve targets set
    • Sharp commercial acumen and high technical uptake
    • Product and Project Sales profile will be added advantage.
  • Behavioral:
    • Smart, enthusiastic, proactive and good leadership skills
    • Motivated by achievement and accomplishment
    • High customer orientation
    • Ability to handle pressure and perform in the face of it
    • Ability to network with various contact points, internal and external, build and nurture relationships
