Job Description

Role Overview: As the Regional Product Manager at Hitachi Energy, you will leverage your deep technical expertise to shape and execute a localized product strategy that aligns with the Global Product Roadmap. Your role will involve customizing product value propositions and positioning in line with global marketing strategies to ensure that offerings evolve to meet market demands, ultimately driving sustainable and profitable growth across the region. Key Responsibilities: - Implement global portfolio strategy into the region, influencing future designs and investments for regional offerings in alignment with the Global Product Group strategy and market needs. - Enhance competitiveness and market knowledge with key regional/local customers and internal stakeholders. - Conduct product/solution competitiveness analysis and actions, validate savings and business cases for DtV projects, and perform competitor benchmarking and market price overview. - Identify regional product requirements such as changes in regulations, standards, and legislations. - Provide input to Global Product Managers on MRS and business case for R&D initiatives, as well as feedback on existing and new product performance. - Lead the market introduction of new products in coordination with Hub M&S and Hub Application Engineering, adapting marketing information to the respective market/region and identifying co-creation/partnership opportunities. - Drive the implementation of the local Product Strategy and global product strategy in the HUB, including regional training and customization of product material. - Implement Strategic Product Initiatives from the respective GPGs and support product launches in the Hub. - Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering; a master's degree in business, marketing, or engineering is a plus. - Minimum of 15 years of experience in technical departments (R&D, Electrical Engineering, Design), Project Management, Product Marketing, Sales, and Business Development in the transformer industry. - Strong technical skills with marketing experience, intercultural sensitivity, good communication skills, and experience in change management, coaching, motivating, and developing diverse technical teams. - Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.,
