Regional Product Manager – Nutanix

Key Responsibilities (KRA / KPI)

1. Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Generate opportunities and leads from OEMs and vendors.
  • Set and monitor targets with vendors based on market share objectives.
  • Co-own the product topline target with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) / National Sales Head (NSH).
  • Develop sub-product lines and new business opportunities in assigned regions.

2. Product & Solution Management

  • Ensure product assurance and maintain a competitive edge in offerings.
  • Pitch the right solutions/products at competitive pricing and ensure timely BID/SPC submissions.
  • Manage timely intimation and assurance on product migrations and upgrades.
  • Support sales with solution positioning and product acceptability.

3. Vendor & OEM Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and price support.
  • Map OEMs, distributors, and internal stakeholders for effective coordination.

4. Sales Enablement & Training

  • Impart product knowledge and conduct regular training sessions for sales and technical teams.
  • Facilitate product certifications to enhance team capabilities.
  • Provide competitive insights and solution support to strengthen account protection.

5. Marketing & Demand Generation

  • Create and circulate marketing collaterals such as EDMs and product updates.
  • Drive awareness campaigns for new product launches and upgrades.
  • Plan and execute joint marketing events with vendors.
  • Innovate to generate new customers through OEM partnerships, digital platforms, and media initiatives.

6. Inventory & Operations Management

  • Review stock status and drive timely liquidation.
  • Support the sales team by resolving transactional and operational challenges.
  • Ensure smooth coordination for pricing, delivery, and product availability.

Desired Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of IT Infrastructure solutions: Data Centre, Server, Storage, Backup, and Virtualization technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Nutanix, VMware, NetApp, Broadcom, and related product lines.
  • Excellent vendor management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
