About the Role

Regional Head – North (Freight Forwarding)

Key Responsibilities

• P&L Ownership:

   Manage and grow the regional freight forwarding business with clear revenue and margin targets.

• Business Development:

   Lead the sales team in acquiring new accounts and expanding business with existing customers.

• Pricing & Strategy:

   Collaborate with the central pricing team while providing regional market insights to remain competitive.

• Operations Management:

   Oversee end-to-end forwarding operations, including import/export documentation, customs clearance, and compliance.

• Customer Service Excellence:

   Ensure top-quality customer experience, quick issue resolution, and long-term client retention.

• Team Leadership:

   Build, mentor, and manage high-performing teams across sales, operations, documentation, and customer service.

• Collaboration:

   Work closely with central finance, technology, and HR to maintain standardization and efficiency.

• Market Intelligence:

   Track industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to position the company ahead in the region.

Qualifications & Skills

• 10–15 years of progressive experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of 

  export-import regulations, documentation, and multimodal forwarding (air/sea/road/rail)

  .
• Proven track record in 

  sales leadership and business development

  .
• Demonstrated ability to 

  manage P&L and achieve financial goals

  .
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on experience with 

  ERP/CRM systems

   and technology-driven logistics solutions is a plus.
