Job Description

Implement the sale plan of the company. Provide bottom-up sale information for the annual sales plan and realize it. Organize dealer and distributor networks to Achieve sales Targets. Bihar/Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh Tamilnadu (South) Experience : A proven track record with a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience. Minimum of Graduation degree in Agriculture or Horticulture. Conduct field inspections and audits to assess internal field quality standards and procedures Monitor key process quality throughout the production activities, from source lot purity check to final harvest seed, ensuring the standard critical to processes Identify quality issues, deviations, and non-conformities, and initiate corrective and preventive actions. Strong knowledge in digitalization of processes and soft skills in improving the applications for field scoring systems Monitor and assess crop health, identifying and addressing issues related to pests, diseases, nutrient deficiencies, and environmental factors which affect Seed Quality. Monitor and analyze field data and metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to optimize quality processes. Participate in the development and review of quality documentation, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and inspection checklists. Experience : Minimum of 3-6 years of relevant experience preferably in vegetable seed. Data Analysis of trials on regular basis. Evaluation of Product performance and recommendation. Identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that improve the customer experience and drive progress toward goals. Define new product strategy, roadmap, and growth opportunities. Supervision and give technical training to the team. Regular update to Breeders for improvement and changing scenarios. Identifying and developing new markets and products. Negotiate work with stakeholders and team members. Demonstrate selected product USPs to stakeholders Assist in training and/or documentation that accelerates the successful adoption of new products. Update the total activities and trial status on regular basis Budgeting - Operational, Capex manpower budgeting of PD for BD . BSc Agri / MSc. Agri / MBA Marketing Strategies implement the companys sales plan. Provide bottom-up sale information for National Business Manager, BD (NBM) for annual sales plan and to realize it. Developing the sales PD team for BD based on the potentiality Identify the right products through proper design and execution of trail. Oversee the new product launches to achieve strategic business growth. Identifying and develop new markets and products. Creating an organization environment which nurtures innovation, ethics, transparency, respect, and pride. Identifying and implementation of initiatives which help farmers in realizing better benets. Possess in depth knowledge and understanding of legal and statutory requirements. Budgeting Operational and capital expenditure. Experience : A proven track record with a minimum of 10-12 years of relevant experience. Coordinate with crop breeders CSP team to organize the required parent test material for timely conduct of SPR trials. Generating data base from sample seed production in house and in farmers fields as Seed Production research to support the commercial seed production. Prepare annual operating SPR expenses, OPEX, required for the conduct execution of SPR trials at multiple locations different seasons. Identification of innovative technologies in SSP transferring them to the CSP teams for improvement of seed quality productivity. Support field production organization in terms of enhancing the production capability of CSP teams for successful large scale production of new hybrids. Experience : Minimum 5-6 Years of Relevant Experience in Vegetable Seed Production or related fields of South Indian production locations Post Graduation in Agriculture / Horticulture Planning execution of the required quantities of parent seed. Delivery of high quality parent seeds for commercial seed production on time. Planning the quantities on PAN India basis for different crops in different geographies. Timely reviewing the seed arrivals make alternative plans in case of shortfalls to meet required volumes on time. Motivate train the team members for knowledge imparting and innovations on regular basis. Should know budgeting for the region and control over the prepared budget. Coordinating with other departments such as R D, Quality, Processing, CSP, Finance HR time to time for the better realization of goals targets. Reviewing budget time to time for effective utilization of resources. Ensuring timely updates to head of department on the progress of crops other projects under taken. Ensuring the security of parent seeds at all the stages of operation. Organizing and Visiting Trials for B2B customers. Data collections for B2B requirements (Visiting All Satellite farms of R D and PD for Data collection). Collate all data for Positioning of B2B products for specific trait requirements. Data presentation and recommendations to B2B customers. Coordinate and engage with R D for product data, selections, Seeds availability, Forecast for PS as well as Commercial seed multiplication. Organizing large field demo plots for B2B customer for demand creation and increase the base of Product sale. Follow and support on technical front with B2B customers. TAT for product movement in B2B business Data backed sales of products for long-term business development and increase customer confidence. Experience: 4-5 years in PD trial handling and analysis. Qualification : Graduate/ Post-graduate in Agriculture Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven trial. Product Development Manager Sales Marketing (Field Crop) Understanding of Changing product needs and suggest change in Product Design. Coordinating and sharing information with Breeders on Products Design. Updating self for New Breeding Initiatives and Biotech Application Preparing the Technical Materials for Training conduct Pre Post season training programs. Support handhold Sales team while addressing major Marketing Complaints. Liaison activities with various State Ag authorities for Registration of our Products to secure FTO. Discussion with all stakeholders for strategic assessment and geographic analysis for product placements. Strategic planning skills for budget and cost control. Gather marketing requirements from all departments across various regions and deliver creative solutions in line with timelines. Coordinate the creation and adaptation of marketing collateral, including digital and print materials. Act as the liaison between internal creative teams and external creative agencies to ensure seamless execution of marketing materials. Production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, emails, and other promotional content. Monitor social media handles to keep tabs on the latest marketing trends and ensure that product brands are promoted in alignment with brand guidelines. Ensure the product portfolio is updated across all marketing assets and the company website. M.Sc. in Agriculture with a specialization in Agronomy/Plant Protection Minimum 5 years of experience in managing Farm Operations Contracting production acres with seed growers for maximum yield, at minimum cost and deliver quality seed on time Develop and maintain a grower evaluation system to drive increased yields and quality. Develop and implement programs regarding agronomic issues in production fields. Perform and coordinate seed logistics activities to ensure accurate records and movement of seed.. Implementing latest seed production technology and improvising present standards to support growers. Planning for multiple crops for each grower to get a year along payment within the reach for next season. B.Sc/M.Sc Agri To conduct, monitor multi-location field trials (MLTs) in the designated field crops i.e., Pearl millet/ Corn/ Mustard/ Rice testing locations of Rajasthan, UP, Bihar, Punjab, Haryana. To coordinate and to monitor team of Field Supervisors and successfully capture trial data on time with accuracy. Conduct MLTs, under the available budget and schedule. To submit data on time and in the specified format precisely (Excel, Phenome). Should be well-versed with data recording using Mobile app, tab etc. Should have adequate knowledge of statistical designs such as RCBD, Augmented designs. Knowledge of data analysis is an added advantage. Should be well-versed with data recording procedures, time of data recording in the relevant crop and knowledge of package of practices to get good crop agronomy. Knowledge of diseases pests in the mandated crops is expected. Should be able to maintain cordial relationships with farmers, cross-functional teams like Product Development, Sales and Marketing. Experience : Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven trial experience in Corn, Pearl millet Mustard. B.Sc. / M. Sc in Agriculture- specialized in Agronomy / Plant breeding. Product Development Executive Field Crop Act as a link between the research and sales team by executing trials. Product evaluation, pipeline enhancement and data analysis. New product advancements that generate business. Provide market development support, liaison with institutions. Impart training on product and product performance management. Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in field Crop trailing. Post Graduation in M.Sc. Agriculture Understanding the market dynamics competitive environment in Vegetable markets of scope countries To devise strategies implement business strategies based on the market study competitor analysis to tap the markets. Design and execute the trial plan as per the requirements of the region , collect trial data for evaluation and report to the crop teams Coordinating with state and central universities and other organizations, understanding the requirement of the licensing, organize the trials for variety registration Provide Technical support to customers internal team. Work closely with internal stakeholders Viz., Supply Chain, R D, Bio Tech etc. Gather the knowledge of the distributors in the country and handle them critically and develop business plan for the local market Participating in various national international forum, and familiarize the potential buyers about our offerings and for promotion of the brand Travel extensively to pursue business opportunities Offer the most suitable varieties to customers as per market requirements Should be well versed with import and export documentation process, preparing sales forecast month wise for varieties as per country.
