Job Title: Regional Business Manager Jewellery Retail

Department: Sales & Operations

Location: Chennai

Reporting To: Zonal Head / Business Head

Role Objective

To lead, manage, and drive sales and operations of multiple jewellery retail showrooms within the assigned region. The role focuses on achieving business growth, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and team development, while upholding brand standards and ensuring profitability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business & Sales Growth

Drive sales targets and revenue growth for all showrooms in the region.

Monitor and analyze sales performance, product mix, and market trends to maximize business potential.

Implement regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives.

2. Operations Management

Ensure smooth operations of all showrooms, adhering to SOPs, policies, and compliance standards.

Optimize inventory management, merchandising, and stock replenishment.

Maintain excellence in showroom ambiance, displays, and visual merchandising.

3. Customer Experience

Drive superior customer service standards across the region.

Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure quick resolution.

Build strong relationships with key clients and local communities.

4. People Management

Lead, motivate, and mentor showroom managers and sales staff.

Drive performance management, training, and employee engagement.

Ensure manpower planning, recruitment, and retention in line with business needs.

5. Business Development & Market Intelligence

Identify new business opportunities, expansion prospects, and competitor activities.

Contribute to marketing campaigns and local promotional activities.

Provide market feedback to the management team for decision-making.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Proven track record in retail business development, preferably in jewellery / luxury retail.

Analytical and strategic thinking ability.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Customer-focused with high attention to detail.

Qualifications & Experience

Graduate / MBA preferred.

10–15 years of experience in retail operations, with at least 5 years in a regional / multi-store leadership role.

Experience in jewellery / luxury / lifestyle retail is highly desirable.
