Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our Interior Design Firm. The role involves managing project costs, preparing estimates, and ensuring financial efficiency throughout the design and execution stages. The Quantity Surveyor will work closely with designers, project managers, vendors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered within budget and timeline, while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQ) for interior design projects.
• Analysing drawings, design concepts, and specifications to assess material and labor requirements.
• Coordinating with designers and project managers to align cost plans with design intent.
• Sourcing materials, obtaining vendor quotations, and preparing comparative statements.
• Assisting in tender preparation, contract negotiation, and vendor finalization.
• Monitoring project costs, preparing cost reports, and tracking variations/changes.
• Verifying invoices, payments, and contractor claims.
• Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and contractual obligations.
• Preparing final accounts and handing over cost-related documentation.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of interior design materials, finishes, and market rates.
• Proficiency in estimation and costing software (AutoCAD, MS Excel, ERP, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurement and costing.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in the interior design or fit-out industry.
• Professional certification in quantity surveying will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹40,081.97 per month
