Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as

  Shift In-charge

  for Quality Assurance activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards during the shift.
• Conduct

  aesthetic and functional inspection

  of plastic ware, identifying defects and ensuring product compliance.
• Implement and manage

  sampling plans

  based on

  ISO 2859 / ANSI Z1.4

  standards.
• Perform

  product approvals

  , maintain

  last shot samples

  , and ensure

  SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Dies)

  compliance in quality checks.
• Maintain quality documentation including

  SOPs, Quality Alerts, Caution Points, and Inspection Reports

  .
• Utilize

  advanced quality tools

  such as 7 QC Tools, 8D, SPC, CAPA for root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Support

  first, second, and third-party audits

  with proper documentation and audit readiness.
• Conduct routine testing and validations for

  Raw Material (RM), Masterbatch (MB), and Packaging materials

  .
• Perform quality checks and testing on

  printed components

  using

  HTF, IML, screen printing, and pad printing

  methods.
• Operate and maintain testing instruments including

  Torque Tester, MFI Machine, Thickness Gauge, Opacity Tester, Push-Pull Tester

  , etc.
• Ensure accurate data entry and report generation using

  ERP systems (e.g., JDE, SAP, STARLIMBs)

  .
• Create and maintain reports and presentations using

  MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  .

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum

  3-5 years of experience

  in the plastic manufacturing industry, specifically in a

  quality assurance

  role.
• Strong understanding of

  plastic ware quality parameters

  and

  testing methodologies

  .
• Familiar with

  sampling methods

  , quality tools, and audit requirements.
• Technically sound with excellent

  analytical and documentation skills

  .
• Proficient in

  ERP systems and MS Office tools

  .
• A proactive team player with the ability to

  lead quality processes independently during shifts

  .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma / B. Sc. / B.Sc in Polymer / Plastic Technology
• Certifications in Quality Management, Six Sigma, or relevant standards (preferred but not mandatory)
