Role Description:-

This full-time on-site role, based in Ahmedabad, is for a Quality Manager / Sr. Qualin Manager - Cable Division. The role involves leading marketing strategies and campaigns, planning market initiatives, and coordinating market researcn efforts. Responsibilities include managing marketing operations, strengthening public relations, driving sales strategies, and ensuring alignment with organiza onal goals. The candidate will oversee marketing activities to expand the company's reach and influence within the industry.• Ensure that all cable products meet the highest quality standards in accordance with BIS 694, ISO, and other relevant national/international specifications.• Develop, implement, and maintain robust Quality Management Systems (QMS) to ensure consistent product performance and regulatory compliance.• Monitor and control quality at every stage of the manufacturing process from raw material inspection to final product testing and dispatch.• Lead internal and external audits, coordinate with certification bodies, and ensure continual improvement in systems and processes.• Analyze customer complaints, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to enhance customer satisfaction.• Collaborate with R&D, Production, and Technical teams to support new product development and ensure compliance with design and performance standards.• Develop and monitor key quality metrics (defect rates, rework, testing results) to drive data-based decision-making.• Ensure calibration and maintenance of testing equipment as per industry norms.• Support continuous improvement initiatives like 5S, Kaizen, and lean Manufacturing in quality operations.

Experience

:• Minimum: 6–10 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control within the cable, wire, or electrical manufacturing industry.• In-depth knowledge of BIS 694, ISO 9001, and other relevant product and system certifications.• Hands-on experience with process audits, testing (electrical, mechanical, chemical), and quality documentation.• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Polymer Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification) required.• Candidates with exposure to industrial and utility cable projects will be preferred.
