This Position reports to: Head, India Operations Center - PA In this role, you will have the opportunity to deploy and lead the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams, with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations. Each day, you will drive the local quality system through the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. You will also showcase your expertise by coordinating the efforts of all necessary local functions that impact the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class performance and ensuring that the necessary certification requirements are met throughout the organization. The work model for the role is :Onsite This role is contributing to the Process Automation, BA Function Operations in Bangalore, India. This is the position of Quality Manager and Continuous Improvement. You will be mainly accountable for: Quality Control Processes continue to meet customer and stakeholder requirements. Validates that control plans are applied and effective in mitigating know risks. Quality Assurance Sets, prevent mistakes and defects and avoid problems when delivering solutions or services to customers. Provide confidence to customer quality requirements will be fulfilled. Focus on issue prevention rather than just control, establish customer and stakeholder needs/expectations, drive the utilization of process management across OPC. Continuous Improvement Develop a common and consistent approach across groups in line with BU structure for continuous improvement and strategy deployment via L6S form strategies and facilitate best practice sharing in INOPC Business engagement Partner with business leaders to understand their organization’s vision, objectives and improvement needs in order to help define a course of action; work with leaders to identify and access the best resources (internal or external) with which to work. Provides direction & support to project teams where needed in ensuring successful project delivery of projects with a focus on safety, on time delivery, quality and margin improvement. Qualifications For The Role Overall Experience (15+ years) Preferably in industrial & utility companies / Global Capability Centers. Quality and Continuous Improvement Skills and Tools: L6S Black Belt / Green Belt, 7Q tools, FMEA, VSM,APQP/PPAP, Basic Statistical Analysis & illustrations- Software Skills: MS-Office (mainly: excel, word & power point) PowerBI, MS-Visio, Minitab-18 & Coordination for Business Portals development. Proven track record of managing successful inter- and intracompany cooperation and delivering high impact CI projects. Experience working in international environments with different cultures and managing stakeholders of varying management levels Superior spoken and written English language skills. Degree in engineering in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics & communication. Master’s in business / engineering is a plus.
