Reporting To: Director / Plant Head

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned and quality-focused professional to lead the Quality Assurance & Control function at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have deep domain knowledge of quality systems in the television and home appliances sector, ensuring product excellence and compliance with both national and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) operations in the plant.

Design, implement, and maintain robust quality systems and SOPs to ensure product reliability and customer satisfaction.

Monitor in-process quality controls, supplier quality, and final product audits.

Drive initiatives for Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and other quality improvement methodologies.

Manage internal and external audits (ISO, BIS, etc.) and ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.

Lead a team of quality engineers, supervisors, and inspectors across departments.

Work closely with R&D, production, and service teams for product improvement and feedback loops.

Handle customer complaints, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective action/preventive action (CAPA) management.

Establish and track quality KPIs (Rejection Rate, First Pass Yield, Field Failure Rate, etc.)

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or related field.

Minimum 10+ years of quality leadership experience in the TV or home appliances manufacturing industry.

Strong knowledge of BIS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other relevant standards.

Expertise in FMEA, 8D, PPAP, SPC, and MSA tools.

Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Familiarity with EMS, LED panel testing, SMT line quality, and plastic molding quality (preferred)
