Quality Engineering Analyst

Title: Quality Engineering Analyst

Location: Hyderabad/Pune

Work Mode: Regular (on-site)

Experience: 4+ years

Education: BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech/MS

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements
• Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development and product management to resolve quality issues
• Communicate effectively with developers, business analysts, and product owners
• Work closely with development teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Maintain documentation related to quality processes, standards, and compliance
• Participate in the implementation of automated testing frameworks where applicable
• Maintain and update regression test suites as needed
• Validate test data and system readiness before execution
• Ability to take ownership of modules and guide delivery independently
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Ability to write clear emails/documentation.
• Excellent communication skills.

Technical Competencies:

• Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Experience in writing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM)
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, or TOSCA
• Ability to design and maintain automated test frameworks
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java)
• Ability to analyze test results and quality metrics to identify trends and issues
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. CMMI)
• Ability to clearly document and communicate test results and quality issues
• Strong stakeholder management and reporting skills

Work experience, Education Qualification & Soft skills:

• Any graduate 4+ years. of relevant work experience
• Education: BE/ B.Tech/ MCA/ M.Tech / MS
• Team Management and Client Relationship Management skills
