About the Role:

Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute
test plans, test cases, and test scripts
for web and software applications.
Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools like
JIRA
or similar.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to reproduce and resolve issues.
Participate in
code reviews
and provide input on product design to ensure testability and quality.
Contribute to
test automation frameworks
using tools like Selenium, or JUnit.
Conduct
regression, integration, and performance testing
to validate product stability.
Support the release process by performing validation and verification activities.
Assist in defining and maintaining
quality standards, metrics, and processes
for continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
0–2 years of experience in
software testing, quality assurance, or related roles
(internship experience acceptable).
Basic understanding of
software development life cycle (SDLC)
and
testing methodologies
.
Familiarity with
manual and automated testing tools
such as Selenium, Postman, or JMeter.
Working knowledge of
Java, Python, or JavaScript
for automation scripting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with
Agile/Scrum
development environments.
Familiarity with
CI/CD pipelines
and tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Exposure to
API testing
and automation frameworks.
Understanding of
cloud-based testing
or deployment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
ISTQB or other relevant
testing certifications
are a plus.
