Quality Control Manager

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee and enhance quality assurance systems and inspection processes. The role involves ensuring product quality from raw material to final dispatch while maintaining adherence to industry standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the QC team and manage day-to-day inspection and testing activities
• Establish, implement, and monitor quality control procedures and standards
• Ensure all incoming materials, in-process, and final products meet quality requirements
• Coordinate with Production, Design, and Purchase teams for quality-related matters
• Conduct root cause analysis and initiate corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
• Maintain documentation and records as per ISO and customer audit requirements
• Lead internal quality audits and support external audits
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives using quality tools (5Why, Pareto, etc.)
• Manage calibration of measuring instruments and test equipment
• Train QC inspectors and production staff on quality standards and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control within electrical component manufacturing or similar industry
• Sound knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, quality systems, and inspection standards
• Familiarity with instrument transformer testing standards (IS/IEC preferred)
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in team leadership and interdepartmental coordination

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office and quality analysis tools
• ERP experience (SAP or equivalent) is an advantage
• Knowledge of testing instruments (CT/PT testers, HV testers, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
